This fleece is ethically sourced and manufactured by El Alto, a company that was created to provide a better working life for Bolivians in La Paz. All El Alto products are hand made with the staff receiving almost DOUBLE the typical wage for similar work and FOUR TIMES the national minimum wage.
The Product:
This fleece is a beautifully soft, warm, comfortable top. A quarter zip gives you the option to vent when active or zip up tight for when the weather turns cold. It is made with a lightweight fleece which makes it useable either as a base layer or over a thermal top or T-shirt
A semi-stiff collar and a chin guard keeps your neck protected when the zip is fully up, but provides a relaxed look when the zip is down.
A superb feature is the extendable thumb loops which will keep your hand warm on cold winter days, also stopping the sleeve slipping down when cragging. If the weather is warmer the thumb loop can be comfortably inverted into the sleeve for a normal design.
