His first novel, 'Boy A', was released to critical acclaim in 2004, and went on to win the John Rhys Llewellyn Prize for best work by an author under 35. 'Boy A' is currently being adapted into a film by Film 4 and will be coming to our screens later this year.
This October, you can get your hands on his eagerly anticipated second novel 'Cham', which is out NOW. While 'Boy A' was set in England, 'Cham', as the name suggests, is set in Jon's home town of Chamonix, in the French Alps.
The book follows a number of season workers through the season, and captures an atmosphere and characters that will resonate with many Natives. Whether carving through deep powder, or drinking the night away in a frenzy of hedonism, 'Cham' looks like it will be the first novel to portray season life accurately.
